About us
We promise a warm Namibian welcome and stay during which you will be hosted in a comfortable and uncomplicated matter, matched
with delicious meals and campfires to relax at - a true Namibian experience.
Our operation and lodge is family friendly and young hunters and woman are encouraged to join in the hunting activities.
Accommodations are most comfortable with guests staying in private quarters with en-suite bathrooms, consisting of a shower,
basin and flush toilet, with running hot and cold water. Delectable home cooked meals are served in the dining area - what
goes into the pot, the hunter has shot!
Although our hunting area is enormous, we insist on keeping our business small.
To ensure that personal attention and service is of the highest standard, only one group at a time is accommodated.
The terrain is mainly Mopane woodland with granite "koppies". Some areas are quite rugged and can only be explored on foot.
These are also the areas where the Mountain Zebra can be found.
On average we have about 300 sunny days per year. February and March is in our rainy season and the temperature ranges
from 15°C to 40°C. From April to August it can be colder in the mornings and evenings, below 10°C to 25°C.
September to November can be quite warm, 15°C to 40°C, but since water resources are limited, conditions are ideal for
hunting - especially bow hunting.
Laundry is done daily, no need to pack more than 3 sets of clothing.
Clients are collected at the Airport outside Windhoek, for the five hour drive to Westfalen camp, and again returned after their
safari.
Electricity is generated by solar power. 220/240 V is generated each day
of charging devices. 3 Pin outlets is standard in Namibia - be sure to bring a suitable adaptor for your chargers.
